Thanks for visiting my site. I put this up to give a quick background for anyone who is interested.
Where am I?
I've been a full time resident of Big Bear Lake, CA since about 2002. If I'm not in town, I'm out traveling somewhere with my wife, Heather, or friends. We do a lot of running and mountain biking, and get in as much free relaxing time as possible in there too.

Where do I come from?
Chicago. Born and raised in the Midwest, I've been a California lover for a little less than a decade. I've discovered that I feel at home in the outdoors, and I have built so much confidence by exploring the natural world while having the space to explore myself.
As for education, I've been in and out of colleges several times. University of Illinois, Victor Valley College and California State University, San Bernardino. My most recent withdrawal was because I became frustrated with the payoff. I was learning more about business by being involved in the community and starting my first 2 businesses than by sitting in a class with a bunch of people who were falling asleep. My experience has been that college teaches methods and facts very well, but what we need most in life is teamwork, communication, drive, the ability to find and apply answers, and balance.
Since then, I've actually started 3 businesses. The first 2 were not so successful. The third one is doing well. It was frustrating to have so much passion and energy in those first to endeavors and have to watch painfully as they struggled. But the learning has been powerful, and a good time. I've learned too much to write it all here, but not enough to be a master. Perhaps the most important has been to find the peace within myself while I'm working. When I'm happy, my business seems to solve its own problems.
